Grupsa, through its subsidiary Grupsa-Colombia, has manufactured the access doors to the Surgical Block for the new Cínica Azul, within the La Castellana neighborhood of Bogotá (Colombia). This health center, which has recently opened its doors, incorporates the first hybrid room in Colombia, a clinical laboratory and an early diagnosis X-ray and tomography equipment, integrated with the latest generation technology. The intensive care unit (ICU) will have 33 beds, of which 20 will be for adult care, six for intermediate adult care and seven will correspond to pediatric ICUs.
The automatic access doors to the operating rooms with a special design adapted to the corporate image of the clinic incorporate hermetic closure, in accordance with the most demanding European regulations regarding the control of positive and negative differential in operating rooms and critical patient units. The HS-201/45 Hermetic Sliding Doors operated through touchless sensors without contact, are equipped with security sensors according to the UNE 16005 standard, which allow the safe and reliable passage of healthcare personnel, bedridden patients and the necessary medical equipment .
Following the criteria of the architects and technical teams of the Clinic and with their special collaboration, the doors have been manufactured with a particular design, adapted to the standard production systems of Grupsa under the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Glazed blue doors, with integrated transparent windows to be able to visualize the interior of the operating room, maintaining the privacy of patients and health workers. The challenge for the Grupsa engineering team has been to maintain a flush design without reliefs combining different materials, integrate colored and transparent glass in one piece and achieve the same aesthetics, even in doors with Pb-2 insulation for radiology rooms.
