Grupsa in Colombia has installed its Hospital System door system in the Colsubsidio Children’s Clinic, located in Bogotá (Colombia). This hospital center focuses on specialized and comprehensive pediatric care, with more than 40 years of experience in high complexity and specialized cases for the health care of one of the most vulnerable segments, childhood.
This health center, after almost half a century of life, needed a complete reform of its facilities, and more specifically, of the surgical area. Under the supervision of Gutierrez Castro Arquitectos, a comprehensive project has been developed to equip its operating rooms with hermetic doors with the latest technology in biosafety and asepsis with the exclusive design of Grupsa products.
With very tight lead times, to avoid reprogramming of interventions, HS-201/45 automatic sliding door systems have been installed from the Hospital System range with certified European tightness, to optimize the positive and negative pressure differential of the room of operations during surgery.
At the request of the architecture department and in order to improve the aesthetics of the children’s hospital, the doors have been designed with opaque glass that maintains privacy with a transparent visor integrated into the glass, for control by healthcare personnel, such as common in the doors of operating rooms and wards.
